E and I went and saw Addison Road Christian Band perform at MISSION church on Saturday. WOW!! It was just so amazing. Check out her song, *this little light of mine* So cool.
Then Sunday morning I get up (which is a 1st and let E sleep in- not sure why- maybe bc Caden was crying REALLY LOUD). go in his room and you can just smell it. YEP! He threw up EVERYWHERE in his bed. but he felt fine, and he seemed like he was fine. Off to church w
e go :)
We went to our parents church. side note: My Dad went to preaching school in Texas and graduated in 1979? well... around that time. The school got certified or whatever for the students to get their B.A. so My Dad took more classes so he could get that. AND HE DID!!!! They were having their ceremony in May and He wasn't able to make it :( but the school president came to my parents church to preach. And before he started his sermon Mr. Dude (can't think of his name much less how to spell it). said a little speech and handed him his
Diploma. He, my awesome Dad, was so shocked (he even cried- which I don't think I've ever seen before). I took some pic. and a video. Will post those soon. So at the age of 59 (just days before his 60th Birthday) my Dad got his BA Degree. I AM SO PROUD OF YOU DAD!!!!! WAY TO GO!!!!
So we went to church really for that. Wouldn't have missed that for the world.
After church my fam (min. my little bro and sis and their families) went out for lunch. Poor Caden by this time you can tell he is sick and asking to *go. go.* So we went home and off to bed.
Since he was sick, we ordered Pizza and watched the movie *something Meat balls* it was cute. Ellie enjoyed it. Then to bed we all went. Before we went to bed we checked on the kids. and once again Caden through up. Poor baby :( I tried to let him sleep with us, but he thought it was time to play so back to his bed he goes. Of course after I clean his bed all up and stick new sheets on it. and then rocked him for a while. My poor baby was sick all week. Poor thing. I just hate it when they are sick. don't you? And poor Ellie was REALLY wanting my attention. Especially since Caden was sick and hogging it all. :/
Backing up again... On Saturday Berlin (our puppy) ate a baby bird and swallowed it WHOLE. So come Monday she isn't feeling to good. Didn't think anything of it, since she just swallowed a bird. Served her right... hahah... well now not really. Each day she got sicker and sicker. Ended up taking her to the ER VET Thursday night, and she was tested positive for Parvo. :( So she is pretty sick. Praying she makes it. Should know by Monday if she will or not. Since we can't aford to keep her in the hospital (they wanted $3K!!! WHAT!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!) and yes, we said no. We are doing inhome treatments for her and praying it works. Here's a sweet pic. of her standing on our patio table. Which she just loves to do :) She also takes her naps on it, too. So funny.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Mothers Day either celebrating you or your Mommy or someone special in your life. I know i did, even if it meant taking care of my sweet little man.
