Ellie helping Dada with Christmas Lights

I know this out of order. However, I was going through my pictures deciding which pictures I would want to stick in here. I came across this one and I love it of her. Eric and I were finally sticking our Christmas lights up on our tree... Ellie was excited and couldn't wait to help him with the lights. If you look closely she is showing E, her Daddy, the lights. I don't have much to say about it, but just loved the picture and the memory of that evening - just the 3 of us putting up our Christmas Lights.

Bragging Rights!!!

Ok, so.... as a wife and Mommy, I have the opportunity to brag about my lovely, bright and inelegant family. Better get on that. :)

Ellie- She is talking so much. All day long we talk, read our books, and she talks to her puppies and whatever toy she is playing with for the moment. Today she asked to *watch it*. Which is her favorite movie(s), Veggie Tales!!! I told her, "no." and she was not to happy about it. I got her mind off of Veggie Tales by singing the ABC's Song and putting her puzzle together. A few minutes later she found another Veggies Tale Movie and asked if she could *Watch It* with a big grin. How can I say "no." to that!! So, here we sit watching Veggie Tales. This pic. is of her watching it back in October I believe.
The 2nd photo is of her the night she took her first steps. Now, of course is what not to Mommy or Daddy, it was to the TV!! She has gotten up to 20 steps two times now. Once for Eric in the airport and the following day for me playing at home. She gets so excited when she can walk- hence the cheese grin on her face her (showing me the clicker, too). I am such a proud mommy!! :)

Eric-
Now for my Hubby. Sorry no photo what I am about to talk about. But here is one with Ellie looking at some kind of monkey on her Birthday. We took Ellie to the Zoo and it was such a great time. Anyways... He is such a great Daddy to her and a husband to me. I thank God every day for him. If only I could really brag about him and what he has been up to I would. But for those that know, just think long enough and you will know what I am getting at. (Not sure if I should be talking about it on here....) But he is an inelegant, bright, funny, loving young man. And I am very proud of him and all of his accomplishments in such a short time (30 years). I am just amazed at the things he comes up with (1/2 of them during the night) and I support every thing that he wants to do. He reminds me of my Dad. My Dad is always coming up with new things to make, build and do and that is Eric. He never stops amazing me.
Soon we shall know what they say about what I can't talk about. Please say a little prayer to God to let us know if this is the path that we need to take or not. And I want to thank those of you that have been standing behind us and supporting us and telling us even though you are sadden by it. Thank you! We really could use all your love and support during this time as we make our decision. Which wont be for another few more months.

So those are my bragging rights as a Mommy to Ellie and a Wife to E!!!
I Love them both dearly and am very proud of them both for accomplishing so much in so little.
Which I am sure you all are proud of both of them as I am... if not you should be...

Its SAD

You know its sad when your older sister has to help you add something to your own blog.
Here I am suppose to be the one that *KNOWS* stuff.... oh well.. Thanks Cher for helping me out. Now only if I can add people to my whatever you call it list. BUT I will say, I do have pictures up. Unlike other people who use their slow computer as an excuse. :)

Erics 30th Birthday!!!

Eric turned 30 on February 20th!!! For his birthday we went to Denver, Co. (where his sister Kimberly and HD, Chris live). Thursday Chris, Kimberly, Pete (their Dad) and Eric went skiing for the day. While Ellie and I took naps, walked around, and played in the snow. It was her first time to see, and touch the snow. They had a little kiddie area to go sledding so the 2 girls went down. Ellie just learning the word "NO!" and its actual meaning screamed "No! NO! No! No!" all the way down. We waited about 15-20 minutes and watch the other girls and boys go down. Which was fun to do. So I mean Mommy made her go again. And like I thought she cried all the way down again. Which was somewhat funny to hear and watch. The following day, just the boys went out, while us girls packed up the hotel room(s). Then Eric and Pete took me out for about an hour or more, while Chris and Kimberly watched and kept Ellie entertained. Thanks Pete and E for being patient with me and wearing yourselves out so that I can have fun skiing!! :) Being that I am a new skier I go S-L-O-W!!!! Being that they are many year skiers they go FAST! So.... they would ski ahead of me and then stop or ski really S-L-O-W behind me. Which for them is a hard thing to do- its hard on your legs.
After we went skiing on Friday I made E watch Ellie and I go sledding. And again she did not like it. Her dada thought it was cute and sad but wanted to go with her, too. And this point she was freaked. I forgot to worn E that there is a little bump in the hill and you can catch some air. So yes, they caught some air and it made her freak out. (Pictures will come soon to prove it!)
Saturday we drove around and went to the mall.... nothing special. Sunday we stayed home, packed and watched a lot of TV. (Ellie was off her schedule and element so E, and I weren't sleeping because she wasn't sleeping.)
All in all it was a great time and nice to get away. Especially for E's 30th Birthday!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVE!!!

We are Pregant

To those that have not heard, we are expecting our second baby the end of September 2008.
Hoping it will be another girl, because Ellie and this baby will be 20-21months apart.
We are all excited and doing well.
