Ok, so.... as a wife and Mommy, I have the opportunity to brag about my lovely, bright and inelegant family. Better get on that. :)
Ellie- She is talking so much. All day long we talk, read our books, and she talks to her puppies and whatever toy she is playing with for the moment. Today she asked to *watch it*. Which is her favorite movie(s), Veggie Tales!!! I told her, "no." and she was not to happy about it. I got her mind off of Veggie Tales by singing the
ABC's Song and putting her puzzle together. A few minutes later she found another Veggies Tale Movie and asked if she could *Watch It* with a big grin. How can I say "no." to that!! So, here we sit watching Veggie Tales. This pic. is of her watching it back in October I believe. The 2nd photo is of her the night she took her first steps. Now, of course is what not to Mommy or Daddy, it was to the TV!! She has gotten up to 20 steps two times now. Once for Eric in the airport and the following day for me playing at home. She gets so excited when she can walk- hence the cheese grin on her face her (showing me the clicker, too). I am such a proud mommy!! :)
Eric- Now for my Hubby. Sorry no photo
what I am about to talk about. But here is one with Ellie looking at some kind of monkey on her Birthday. We took Ellie to the Zoo and it was such a great time. Anyways... He is such a great Daddy to her and a husband to me. I thank God every day for him. If only I could really brag about him and what he has been up to I would. But for those that know, just think long enough and you will know what I am getting at. (Not sure if I should be talking about it on here....) But he is an inelegant, bright, funny, loving young man. And I am very proud of him and all of his accomplishments in such a short time (30 years). I am just amazed at the things he comes up with (1/2 of them during the night) and I support every thing that he wants to do. He reminds me of my Dad. My Dad is always coming up with new things to make, build and do and that is Eric. He never stops amazing me.Soon we shall know what they say about what I can't talk about. Please say a little prayer to God to let us know if this is the path that we need to take or not. And I want to thank those of you that have been standing behind us and supporting us and telling us even though you are sadden by it. Thank you! We really could use all your love and support during this time as we make our decision. Which wont be for another few more months.
So those are my bragging rights as a Mommy to Ellie and a Wife to E!!!
I Love them both dearly and am very proud of them both for accomplishing so much in so little.
Which I am sure you all are proud of both of them as I am... if not you should be...
