Pictures of Ellies Room!!!

These are pictures of her room. She has a Pink and Brown Room. Pink Walls called Poetic Princess (which I believe was K. old room color), with Espresso Crib & Book Shelf, and her dresser is a few shades lighter (which was her Great Grandma Marthas furniture- we have the rest in our room). Its not completely done, still needs curtains on her windows which I am going to do in a bright pink with brown tie backs for all the windows (1 HUGE, and 3 small ones). Then I need to make her her Message Picture Board. THe frame will be in Espresso and the fabric is a bright pink with light pink wavy stripes. Which will go above her pink chair. Then on the blank  wall will go some other pictures of her and whatever else. I will take some better ones of what it looks like now (which its not done) but i've done a few things since these pictures. but here you go!!!

My Sweet Angel!

This is one of my favorite pictures of her. She was 24hrs old here. A few hours after we brought her home from the hospital. She looks so peaceful, and I just want to grab her and hold her and never let her go. No, thats no lipstick on her cheek just a red mark. But doesn't she look so cute and nuggley!!! I think so.

I feel like a Computer PimpA. I am in *my* office with *MY* computer and E's computer running. With our desk top sitting in the middle, not running. 

I am copying Ellies Pictures to CD's. FINALLY!!! Don't want to lose any of them. I can't believe how fast these past 16.5m have gone. Looking back, it feels like a few days ago. Not like yesterday, because I am sleeping. tee hee hee :) Which I am soooooooo enjoying it while it will last. Few more months and I wont be sleeping any more. ugh. 

so yes, I am playing on my computer while I am on E's computer burning pictures to a CD. First week down, 16 more months to go. :) YES, this was on my nesting to do list. Once I get this done, I can stick E's computer else where and put the CD's away and not have to think about burning them again. Now all I need is a CD case to hold them in. Want to make it look cute- like her baby book! 

What a day or weekend. Eric and his Dad worked on the tiling on Saturday morning and then E did it today. I need to take a picture of it tomorrow. Our TV room looks amazing. I can't wait for it to be completely done. We aren't going to want to move after everything we have done to it. While they did that, I have been going through pictures, letters, papers, mail, junk, clothes, etc. While El was a wake we did her bonus room which is her play room. Then while she was sleeping I worked on the den/office/junk room. WOW what a mess. I've shredded, thrown away stuff, filed, went through our books and made a pile of give a way. I would say after this weekend (hopefully) that the give a way pile will be gone, along with our desk top computer, 2 printers, computer desk & matching book shelf, dining room table w/8 chairs. And that all the books that we/he is keeping will be boxed away, files will be boxed away, and whatever else we wont be needing or using will be boxed away. Getting ready to stick this house back on the market. Deadline of September 1st. 

Hence that is why I am doing all of this stuff like a mad pregnant women. :) 

Just wanted to say....

That God is GREAT! 

He has answered some prayers not just for me but some families that Ellie and I (along with Eric) have been praying for. My heart is rejoicing for these families as they can sleep peacefully tonight knowing that He is there for them. and showing them. 

God is Great!! 

You ever wonder what it would be like to be lost and not your way? How scary that would be and feel like. But what a calming feeling to know that we, His Children, are saved and we see the light- His light. Knowing that makes things good. I know at times, it can be hard to see the *big picture* but once you do, don't lose sight of it. Hardships (whatever they may be) are just a puzzle to the big picture. What is the Big Picture? For me, its getting to Heaven and helping my family get there, too. Raising Ellie and her siblings up in the Lord and watching them raise their kids up in God and seeing them all get baptized- for God is my BIG PICTURE. What is yours?

ITS RAINING!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you tell I am happy about the rain. :)

I love rain- it makes me happy, recharges my batteries, and over all just happy. When E gets home this time we are going to play in it. I left for Sprouts and when I got back the girls (aka Reilly & Leena) were all wet and a little muddy. They had fun out in it. 

Get this- Monday we reached 110' and three days later we get to 55'. When I was driving around I was watching my temp. gage and seeing how cold it was getting. 

And on top of the rain it has been thundering and a few lightnings bolts!!! SW-EET!!! :) :) :)

My Day in HE!!

Yes, it was a day in he!!. 

Starts off to a good start- Ellie wakes up at 7:40a instead of 6a. Which is always a good morning when she *sleeps in*.  Take a nap , only an hour which isn't that great but doable. Change her clothes, stick the dogs outside to do their thing, back inside to the laundry room they go. Get her water & snacks and its out the door for LBC (Ladies Bibles Class). Start the car and realize that I with a PRAYER to God to make it to the Gas Station (1-2miles away). Thought to myself, I have a stroller and her water if we don't make it. Godfully we made it. :) YAYA NOT HAVING TO WALK IN THIS HEAT!!!! 

Fill up the tank and its off to WHAT!!! CAR WONT START!!!!! Ya, my car wont start. Call E and say "what do I do? I have power but its not turning over." He tells me to find some men to push it to a parking spot." So with Ellie on my hip, belly showing (wearing a tank top) I find to 2 men to help push my car which isn't the lightest thing and easiest thing to do in 106+ temp. I called Mom to see if she could come get me and she did. Mean while I walked across the street to WalGreens to wait for her there. By the time we get inside the store we are both hot and CRAVING WATER!!! Go to the sitting area and wait for my Mom to rescue us. 

Ya, not sure what I was thinking about walking home. Must of had a hormone block. 

Hours Later....

E goes to jump start the car. He gets there and tries it first and it had to think about it but it starts and he drives it home. We all go to Checker Auto Zone and the Battery if fine. and doesn't act up. Do a few more stops and it starts up like it never died on me. 

NEXT DAY (Wednesday) 

Start it up and it has to think about it.... Thankfully it started at Jeanies school otherwise E would have to come and get us. (She works at Ellsworth and Univ.)

So yes, My Day in He!! wasn't the funnest thing that I have had to do with a Baby on my hip and one in the oven. It took my until 6p to cool down and stay cooled down. Poor Ellie- I can only image how she felt. But she was acting fine after food in her tummy and being home. 

let me just say, STUPID CARS!!!!!!!!!! 

 

Ellie Has New Room!!!

Not really, but it is now finished!!! Or almost. Just needs a few pictures and a Poster Board and it will be ALL DONE!!!! :) 

With her Birthday and Christmas money we bought her this Pink Chenille Chair. It matches one of her blankets that her Aunt Wewe Made her (aka Cheri my sisto). She saw it and loved it and didn't want me to stick it back on the shelf. So of course I had to call her Daddy and talk about it. Thankfully he said I could go get it. Which I did at 9:30p Wed. night. I also bought her this Espresso Bookshelf-Cubby thing with bright pink pull out drawers. Now she can get her books and sit in her chair in her room and read. Its her own little library. Now, I am just trying to get E to get her this mini pink chandelier to stick in the corner over her chair. It would just be so cute and adorable. 

My Mom, who is so sweet came over on Thursday to help me organize her room (clothes, shoes, stuff). One room down a few more to go. I have until September 1st to get everything done. Guest Room (check), Ellies Room (check), Bonus room (Saturday), Den (DateTBA), Our room and bathroom (DateTBA), Paint (our room & bath, Piano Room, Den, Hallway, touch ups which theres alot- DateTBA). Then I will be done. One room at a time. Thanks Mom for helping me- don't think I would have started or finished it without you. :) She's the best!!!! :)

But Ellies room is so cute, and soothing. I go in there and I can actually breath. I know longer go in there and hurry out of her room or look in her closet and shut it real fast. In stead after her morning nap we stayed in there and read books and played. It was so nice. 

I know, I know, would love to show pictures. But I guess I am lazy right now. I believe I owe you all lots of pictures. Maybe on Monday or Tuesday I will do that. 

WHAT? No Rain!!!

UHHHHH!!!!! :/ So not happy about that. 

I will say it was very beautiful outside. Cloudy just about all day, nice wind that had a hint of cold to it and some nice Thunder. The kids across the street said that their school walls  (which is down the street from us) were shaking. 

Maybe it will rain tonight... We like having the windows open to listen to the rain fall. How I yearn to hear, see and feel rain. I am ready to move to Oregon. 

So like when was the last time it rained, i mean really rained here in AZ? Was that like in January, maybe February? 

BTW- my neighbors dogs (chuawas-sp) had their puppies. One mommy had 5 (4 black boys and 1 brown girl) and the other Mommy had 2. Not sure what sex they are or what they look like. But they are a week old and they are so darn cute!! The little girl picked one up and Ellie went bonkers over them. Before that she was like, "Mom why are we looking at black big dots?" then she realized they were PUPPIES!!!!!! E I want one. 

So like, does anyone want one? I don't know how much she is going to sell them for, but last I heard they were FREE! Can't beat that. 

THUNDERSTORMs

I love it when I wake up and its dark and glooming outside. 

As I was sticking Ellie down for a nap, it just started rumbling very loud. Ellie looked at me like "what was that and why." Came down stairs and the dogs (aka Reilly) was wanting to climb in my lap. She's scared of thunder. 

BUT its THUNDERING outside. and in a few hours its suppose to be RAINING!!!! 

If its still raining outside when E gets home we are all going to go play in it. I love playing in the rain and so do the girls (aka dogs). E and I normally run up and down the street acting like little kids. So much fun!!! one of these days I am going to get it on tape ;) I guess when the girls (aka real ones) are older then I will get it on tape.

All she wants is her Mommy and mommy her! Although her Daddy is making us an Alfedo Sauce and Pasta with Chicken!!! :) YUMMY!!!!

Sickness in the house

Ellie is sick again. Third time in less then 6m that she has caught the flu. Or the 4th time if you count the 2nd time she got sick from the first time. She got sick and was almost 100% well, then E and I got sick and she got re-sick. She got sick Friday morning (thats why she slept in until 9:30a- should have known she was sick since she slept in that late). Just before I stuck her to bed Saturday Night she thru up all her food. Thankfully she has been drinking water all day so liquids are staying in her. 

I just hate it when she is sick. I would rather be sick then her get sick. Which I am sure all Moms feel that way about their kidos. Speaking of which, my tummy isn't on the ups and ups, so I am just crossing my fingers and praying to God that I don't get sick and El gets better by tomorrow morning. 

 

GIRL or Boy???

Thats the question. 

Today was my midwife appointment. Didn't get to hear the heart beat, but Renee (my MIL who's married to Bunkie) got to hear it :) They used the non-dopler thinging. Don't know what its called. But I've only gained about 15-20ibs so far. Which by this time with Miss Ellie I would say 30+ pounds. I feel great, look great (besides my hair), so I just can't complain. 

Today the heart beat was between 150-160 but closer to 160. Which can indicate its a girl. But last appointment it was on the lower end which said it was a boy. Only God knows what I am having and I like it that way. Today I turned 20 weeks which is my 1/2 way mark. 20 more weeks to go. When you say that it doesn't seem that far away, but saying *the End of September* does seem far to me. 

My midwife is really sweet and I enjoy her so much. She really is concerned about me and my pregnancy and makes me feel that I am her only one. Which I know I am not by all the women coming and going. But its nice to feel and be wanted. Ya know. Especially when it comes to having your baby. Thats always a good thing. 

So yes, still pregnant and baby seems to be healthy, growing and MOVING just fine. :)

I Look like a BOY!!!

This morning, Ellie decided to wake up at 6:30a. WOA!! That is sooo way early for me. E is already up and getting ready for work. I get up and he looks at me and is like, "WOW! Look at your hair." I think he wanted to bust a gut and laugh at me and my boyish hair. It was all standing straight up- trying to think of who it looked like- I wetted it down and combed it then off to get my Ellie. Got her back to bed and went to bed myself which did not last long. Look in the mirror again, and it is straight up, ALL OF IT. 

I am glad I did it, because I have always wanted to do it. BUT seriously, I never dreamed I would look like this. I will work on pictures tonight- you all got to see this. I believe I will be wearing hats and rags for the next 2 months. ha ha ha  

Boy....

Yes, I look like a boy. E says its, "cute." I don't want to be cute, I want to be HOT!!! 

Lets just say my hair better grow out and fast. Either that or I am going shorter...

So my hair is 2-3inches all the way around. 

I told YOU(!) I would do it and I did. 

I think I would like it a little better if I let the front grow out and keep the rest as it is- almost like I had before I chopped it off. As soon as I figure out to do pictures on here from my camera I will post a before and a boy-after. :)

Dr. Appointment

I saw this on a post and had to stick it on my. 

This is so true- Now you know why I am seeing a mid-wife and having a homebirth. At least one of my reasons but not the main one. Enjoy the laugh. 

Pregnancy Check up:

evil doctor- "okay everyone lets start the meeting, what was on last months agenda"

neurotic receptionist- "let's see (looks at notes) oh ya the same thing that is on every agenda, what can we do to make these visits even worse for a pregnant woman."

evil doctor- "that's right, now everyone needs to do their part. Reception what efforts are you making?"

neurotic receptionist- "We make sure to have them stand and wait at our clear glass window while we laugh with each other for about two minutes before we open it and check them in, and then we make sure the only magazines in the waiting room are trashy, boring, and out of date."

evil doctor- "Good, nursing what are you doing?"

sadistic nurse- "(with an evil laugh) We have soooo much fun. First we make them wait at least 15 minutes before we call them in, then we set all the scales 5 pounds heavier than they really are, then we make sure to walk through all the hallways really fast so they have to hurry to keep up with us which they can't do cause they are big fat pregnant ladies (another evil laugh). Oh and when we weigh them we make sure to not say a thing but to LOOK really judgemental as we write the number down."

evil doctor- "all that is really good, but lets try to think of more. Ultrasound, what are you doing"

ultrasound technician- "we tell them they have to get here with a full bladder then we make them wait 30 minutes for their appt, then we push really hard on their bladders during the exam. Oh and you know how everyone says a pregnant woman shouldn't be on her back, and we all know how uncomfortable that is for her, well we make her lay on her back the whole time!"
(high fives are given throughout the room)

evil doctor- "good keep up the good work. Lab how are your efforts going?"

lab worker- "well we just put in an order for even smaller cups to collect urine samples with so those last 6 visits where she can't even see down there will be nearly impossible, oh and we put really fat markers in the bathroom and have told her to write even more information on the small cup with it like her name, b-day, pet's names and shoe size."

sadistic nurse- "oh make her write her weight on there too, she will get really depressed at that."

lab worker- "good idea"

evil doctor- "okay, from the doctor side our efforts are of course to make her wait in the exam room for at least 15 min with nothing to look at but posters of how she will look when she is 10cm dilated, then when we listen to the heart beat we will put way too much of the goo on her belly, oh and we will make sure it is cold, then we won't wipe it all off. Oh and at the end of pregnancy we will get her hopes up in the last two weeks by saying "any day now" when really we know she will go over due. So lets all have a great month of torturing these women, and remember if you can think of any reason at all to make them come in for an extra visit go for it!"

My First Scare...

The Color RED!!! What does that remind you of??? Sports Car, 4th of July, Hooker (depending on what's red I would say- back then my G-pa would have said high hills...LOL... gotta miss him), and some would say BLOOD!

Ellie took her first real good spill tonight at church. 

Backing up though. Before that she was eating Grapes and Cantaloupe(sp?). Moving forward. She is being chased by some of older girls at church and having fun. Then she biffs it and real good. My Dad is holding her as she is screaming bloody marry (which she never does. So I know its not a good one). As I go to grab her I look in her mouth to see that her lower lip, teeth are covered in BLOOD! Then as I look closer it appears that her teeth are in her lower lip or that she biffed it so good that she bit off a chunk of her inside lip. 

FREAK ME OUT!!!!! 

SO I lay her down in my lap to get a better and closer look in her mouth to see what is going on in there. THANKFULLY, and I do mean THANKFULLY (Or Thank You, Lord) that she still had Grapes and Cantaloupe in her mouth. So no lower lip is missing. However, she did take a good bite/gash in her mouth. She cried for a while, then nursed, then cried some more and then just sat in my lap and snuggled for a bit. 

I believe if E had of been there that we would be on our way to the ER. As of now, he still has not heard her biffing story (he's playing softball with Gateway boys/men). 

Then about 20 min. later or less she was back on the floor playing and laughing and acting as if nothing ever happened. My heart still beats fast when I think about what I *saw* and happened.

Shy of 16 months and we still haven't made an ER visit and I plan on keeping it that way for another 16= YEARS!!! God willing- which He better since it is my will. :) Love you GOD. 

Ok- so thats my 1st scare with Ellie. Thank my Lord she is ok and so am I. ha ha ha 

Can't decide....and a cuter note: Ellie

I can't decide if I should or should block my blog. Thanks to those that have told me how to do that. I probably wouldn't have found it otherwise. 

On a cuter note:

Ellie just brightens my day. She is so cute! I know, I know, I'm Mommy and of course I would think that. But seriously, she is. Every Wednesday night we go to *Ur* (aka Church) and to Bible Class. We can't make a pit stop when we are in the building. We have to go right to class in straight to our chair and learn about God. In class we read our Bibles. "God loves Ellie!!!" (clapping hands) "yaya!!!! Ellie read her Bible!!!!" "God loves Ellie, yes He does. God loves Ellie, yes He does. God made Ellie just this way and He loves her everyday." Having said/sang all that, Ellie can read her Bible. She points her finger(s) and smiles and when we say her name, she says "Ya-E" (aka Ellie.) and then she puts her Bible down and starts clapping her hands with this HUGE grin on her face. I captured it on video. I love it and her most of all!!! :)
