Erics 30th Birthday!!!

Eric turned 30 on February 20th!!! For his birthday we went to Denver, Co. (where his sister Kimberly and HD, Chris live). Thursday Chris, Kimberly, Pete (their Dad) and Eric went skiing for the day. While Ellie and I took naps, walked around, and played in the snow. It was her first time to see, and touch the snow. They had a little kiddie area to go sledding so the 2 girls went down. Ellie just learning the word "NO!" and its actual meaning screamed "No! NO! No! No!" all the way down. We waited about 15-20 minutes and watch the other girls and boys go down. Which was fun to do. So I mean Mommy made her go again. And like I thought she cried all the way down again. Which was somewhat funny to hear and watch. The following day, just the boys went out, while us girls packed up the hotel room(s). Then Eric and Pete took me out for about an hour or more, while Chris and Kimberly watched and kept Ellie entertained. Thanks Pete and E for being patient with me and wearing yourselves out so that I can have fun skiing!! :) Being that I am a new skier I go S-L-O-W!!!! Being that they are many year skiers they go FAST! So.... they would ski ahead of me and then stop or ski really S-L-O-W behind me. Which for them is a hard thing to do- its hard on your legs.
After we went skiing on Friday I made E watch Ellie and I go sledding. And again she did not like it. Her dada thought it was cute and sad but wanted to go with her, too. And this point she was freaked. I forgot to worn E that there is a little bump in the hill and you can catch some air. So yes, they caught some air and it made her freak out. (Pictures will come soon to prove it!)
Saturday we drove around and went to the mall.... nothing special. Sunday we stayed home, packed and watched a lot of TV. (Ellie was off her schedule and element so E, and I weren't sleeping because she wasn't sleeping.)
All in all it was a great time and nice to get away. Especially for E's 30th Birthday!!!
