3 Day Weekend!!!

E finally got a day OFF- a 3 day weekend :) Lucky him worked out in the hot sun on Friday doing yard stuff, then came in and did a few things for me. We went over to his Moms home with her side of the family and had or tried to have a cook out. Steves grill didn't work so we grilled them inside. Everything was delicious!!! :) The *kids*, Eric, Chris, Kimberly, & Paige went swimming. While I kicked my feet in the pool and wathced Ellie play with a ball outside of the water. She got brave and would come sit on my lap and kick her feet in the water. What a BIG Girl!!! :) Kimberly and Eric rough housed in the pool and Ellie did NOT like that. She was scared about her Daddy and was pretty upset with Kimberly trying to hurt her Dadda- she got a dirty look afterwards. I was hoping to get home early enough to put Ellie to bed and then go sit on our ruff to watch the FIREWORKS, but I wasn't so lucky. Which was fine- I did hear them off in the distance. Maybe next year... I LOVE FIREWORKS!!! I haven't seen Fireworks in 4 years. I think I need to heard out to KY and have the kids put on a show for us :)

Saturday, Eric and I woke up at 5:00a (only because I had to pee and couldn't hold it for a few more hours) and Eric woke up not being able to turn his neck. Chris and his Dad came over to help lay some tile down. Unfortuneatly they weren't able to get a lot done due to E not being able to move. Afterwards, we had a little family date night. Which was much needed- we haven't done that in a long time. We went to dinner and then came home and watched FOOLS GOLD! Apparently, Ellie laughs like me. tee-hee-hee 

Sunday is our lazy day. Gave Renee a massage, E took Ellie to the store and he's going to make Pork Chillie for church potluck tonight and for lunch for the week. Me- I am off to go take a nap. Ellie has been waking up in the middle of the night screaming. Last night I went in there twice in a 2-3 hr span, and the other 2 times she went to bed on her own. Needless to say, I am tired. 

But I love weekends like this. Even though we had a lot of work to do around the house, its always nice to know *My Love* is home with us. Ellie loves it when her Daddy is home. She gets soooo excited when he goes to get her in the mornings. They play so cute together. El wrestles with him and pens him. Which is hilarious to see. She tried to do that to me, which I let her win but you know, its not as much fun as it is with Dadda... ha ha ha :)  I read better, but Daddy wrestles better.
