Thursday:
We/I packed for Ellie and myself to KY, cleaned the house, cleaned out the car, did laundry and even stuck it away and hung them up. Went to Moms house for dinner and slept over at Grandmas house. (My parents have no room for us at this time). Ellie went to bed at 10p and E and I went to bed at 11ish. Oh! BTW- I packed 1 carry-on and 1 duffel bag and the diaper bag was toys for 5 days for Ellie and me. :) GO ME!!!! (According to my sista I ROCK!!!)
Friday:
We wake up at 5am to leave for the airport. E took my Parents, Tanner, and Zach (my cousin who's like my nephew), Ellie and myself to the airport. Flight leaves at 7:05am. We get there each having a roller carry-on luggage and either a backpack or a duffel bag. I on the other hand had both along with a diaper bag and a car seat and Ellie.
The first flight was uneventful which took us to Atlanta, GA. From there we flew to Louisville, KY. That flight was eventful. The Radio in the plane was down so they had to turn the plane off which means no air flow for 20+min. It got VERY VERY hot in there. Almost sicking. They start serving snacks and drinks but ran out of time to serve the other 1/2 of the plane. People got a little upset because they weren't even going to pass out water. And then they finally did. So just as we are about to land we get water. So, no air flow, water= being sick. The only good thing about the flight it was 53min. long. :)
We land get all of out stuff together and meet Don, Cheri, Hannah, Grace, Charlie and Kellar at the Security Gate. Somewhere between landing and meeting everyone I manage to lose my phone. Called the airport and airlines and no one turned it in. :( Not happy about that.
We split up in cars and head down the road. Stop to eat and hit the road again.
Cheri who likes to brag about not having a ticket before Hannah, got pulled over. Get to watch her in action!!! The HighWay Patrol dude (badge #- Cheri knows it by heart) wasn't the nicest. She ended up getting sighted for speeding 22mph in a construction zone plus having her tags expired- big fine!!! The funny-sad part is she can't go to drivers school because she was over the limit.... ha ha ha ha Poor you. So sorry.... LOL still can't help but laugh. YAYA!!! Finally someone else other then me.
Get home, unload eat some more (I'm pregnant- therefore I eat all the time.) In fact I believe I ate 3/4 a bag of Salt & Vinegar Chips to myself. In 5 days I managed to put away to bags- HOWEVER, Tanner, Chat & Grace did help me. :)
Saturday:
Chase Chickens, took a nap while everyone else went to go watch Hannah and Grace in action- Soccer game! Go girls!!!! Played lots of card games, laugh, joked, eat.
Sunday:
Went to church and witnessed Hannah being baptized! What a wonderful memory and experience. I am so proud of Hannah (And Cheri & Don for raising a bright, inelegant, lovely young girl). Came home took another nap while everyone watched Grace play her soccer game!! Woke up to a houseful of family. Our KY fam came over for dinner. What a wonderful time with them.
Monday:
Wake up to only go hunt for Dorey!!! Tell Don I only see 2 cows- he doesn't think anything of it, so either do I. He goes out to feed the animals (theres alot of them) and she is no where to be seen. AT ALL!!!! comes back and says, "Ok Cowboys time to catch a cow." Thinking shes just on the other side, I grab my video camera to tape it. (Side note: I am still in my PJ's, wearing my non-h2o shoes.) Jumped over a little stream, climb our way through these thick shrubs, to only see that Don still has not found the missing cow. Dad, Kellar and I go walking up the RR Tracks to see if we hear or see her. 15min. later we heard a cow in the way off distance but don't go to investigate. Turn around to run into Cheri. Dad, Cheri and I head back the way find cow prints and then they disappear (like she flew away.) Run into some odd/scary looking homes/property and turn around. While we were there we heard a cow, but Cher said it wasn't her.... (keep that in mind). Cross back of the RR & bob-wire fence and heard 6 gun shots (22 pistol Dad says.) Go get Don, and Dad and Cheri go off to investigate the shootings. (BTW- the gun shot came from where we were just a few min. earlier- thats why they went back- thinking they were killing a cow.) Run into an old man and find their missing cow! How in the world we/they found her, God only knows. (Thank you God that know one got hurt and that they found her safe and sound.) So, 3 hours later of looking for her, her jumping over at least 4 bob-wire fence, climbing and de-climbing a RR hill and crossing it, and crossing 3+ grass fields and coming to about 300 feet away from a major highway, which equals to about a mile away from home; she is home, locked up!!! What a morning.
I took a nap, because that wore me out! ha ha ha and an excuse to sleep in bed with 2 cats- E I *need* a cat to sleep with....getting one real soon....
Tuesday:
Go Tiquing- drive around this BEAUTIFUL Farm area (want to get a house and land in there). Go home, pack, take a nap. Leave for the airport. Both flights were booked, but thankfully uneventful. Although there was traffic on the run-way which made us late to getting home.
Jennifer and Nicki (sorry ladies) arrived to the airport safe and sound. Decide to circle terminal 3, and ended up on the 143 & University. Had to turn around and come get us. Thankfully they were ok. Drop them off, go home, stick El to bed and me to bed by 1am to wake up at 7am on Wed. with Ellie being wide awake..... Today is Friday and I am still sooooo tired. Haven't been able to catch up on my ZZZ's.
So all in all:
The kids played, ran around, went cannoning, catch and watch Don skin fish (they were dinner), road the dirt bike, fed and helped take care of the animals, played many card games (Don who never plays with us WON!!!! You go DUDE!!), saw a little pony/foal about a few hours old (the neighbors down the street), chased and caught the ducks to stick them in the pond only to have them return to their coop the next day. Played many outdoor games, built rope swings, took ellie to see the Chick (her fav. thing to do), helped her walk inside and outside (MAN!!! Can she walk now. What a big girl.), petted the horses and cows. Laugh, ate and snacked alot, made a mess, and watched Sound Of Music!!! Poor Tanner had to watch it.... :) lol And best of all, watch Hannah get baptized. So awesome!!!
It was a wonderful trip. Will stick pic. up soon. and hopefully some shot of the video I took.
Thanks for a wonderful time- miss you all and love you, too. Glad you were able to bond with Ellie. I know she is missing you all. The other night we went to a families house and she got all excited. I think she thought we were at the Cas Farm. Sadly enough we weren't.

Loved your recounting of the weekend's events... sucks about yor phone. I'm sure you'll find it on E-Bay or something! : (
Thats awesome about you get to take th On-line test. And glad you are up to date on your property & tags. Thats always a nice relief or not.
