Her baby, Scooter has been lame for 2 years now and she just got him to where she can do short rides, on flat surfaces and only walking. So the 2 of us went out for a stroll in the San Tan Mountains. :) It was so much fun, nice and relaxing and of course I couldn't have asked for better company (speaking of Renee, not the horse ha ha ha). We went out for just over an hour. She said maybe in the next couple of weeks she will take me out to AJ. They have green pastures. Looking forward to that
It was funny, as we are riding the horses, Scooter (my horse) forgot all his trail manners- you can't stop to eat the grass, trees, shrubs, horse poop, or whatever else there is. Having said that, we stopped quite a bit- every few steps it seemed. Which was fine. Aspen (Renees horse) was getting jealous because Renee kept telling him no. Poor boys! When Scooter decided he wanted to turn back and go home, he didn't stop once to eat. In fact the horse that isn't suppose to traught wanted, too!!! Me being pregnant and not use to riding (last time I went was before I got pregnant with Ellie), and him having nerve problems we aren't suppose to be doing that kind of stuff. Poor thing, I had to keep telling him no, easy, good boy!! LOL At one point he got lazy but yet excited that he stumbled and went down on his knees- he has 2 little little boo-boos. :( and YES, he is ok (me, too).
But what a nice morning to go out and enjoy Gods nature, the horses and Renee. Can't wait to go out again :) I wont be able to do this much longer. Only because it will be to uncomfortable and hot in a month to 2 months to come. She took a pic of me, so when she sends it my way I will post it up- not that you want to see me, I know you all would rather see my *Miss Priss*

speaking of riding - i got on star the other day and wow - did my inner thighs just start screaming! ugh - it was ouchy! glad you had fun!
LOL- I hear you there. the first time I went out with Renee (pre-Ellie) we ran, traughted, galappoed just about the whole time....I had 2 nice red marks on my butt!!! Yes my BUTT cheeks were bruised. Talking about hurting- that hurt. :) This time my low back and hips were swore but I think that was because the way I was sitting. Can't sit the same as if I didn't have something in the way.
