Dedicating Songs

My SIL posted about songs and who they reminded her of. Here is my List of people and the songs that remind me of them

MY PAPA!!
Fishing in the Dark, by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band: That was my father-daughter song that we danced to when I got married. He would put it on at the house, and the 2 of us would dance around the kitchen as I was growing up.
Silent 'N Night: My Dad sang that to us as we would go to sleep or if we were sick. Now I have the privilege to sing it my daughter. What great memories growing up and to pass them down.

Have Patience: My *Baby* Bro. Ok, so he's not my baby bro, but between my 2 bros he is the youngest. ALL growing up, my Mom would sing the *HAVE PATIENCE* Song. Now, I have past it on to my little girl (who does have Patience, but not when it comes to her food) and my lovely HD.. but yes, my baby bro lacks patience in that department. But at least he can have it under control- AT times. :)

My SISTA: Sister to Sister - I saw this and thought of my Sista

My Mom: ACCAPELLA. Because that's all she ever had playing in our car. Which I loved, and to this I have a CD in the player. :)

My *big* Bro: You are my Sunshine- Because when he was in the hospital and I was sitting with him I started singing that song- it was a hard time for everyone, and I wasn't about to lose my bro. Thank God that I (we) didn't. Love you Chad!!!

Jennifer: Madonna- and I can't think of the name of it or how it goes. But mainly anything by her.

Erin: CAn't Touch This! It brings back a memory of the 2 of dancing at E's house on New Years Eve or DAY- depends on what time it was at that time. I wont go more into that, but that song takes me back to that night and us dancing. We were the only ones- boys were playing poker and the other girls were sitting on the couch *talking* and E was outside just waiting for his neighbor to step outside- he wasn't the best neighbor- thats for another topic another day.

Kimberly: Fat bottoms makes the world go round- the ONLY reason it reminds me of her, is bc E dedicated that song to her at her 1st wedding. Which I was not in the picture then. But I think of her when I hear it. Sorry Kimberly.

My 2 favorite E's: CINDERELLA by ??? Makes me emotional every time I hear it. Its E song to our little pride and joy.

My E: All I Ask of You! One of my favorite songs and it was sung during our wedding ceremony by an amazing girl friend of mine.

My Bright Eyes, Miss Priss- Ellen Marleen McBride (AKA Ellie, El):
 You're my Honeybunch, Sugarplum
Pumpy-umpy-umpkin, You're my Sweetie Pie
You're my Cuppycake, Gumdrop
Snoogums-Boogums, You're the Apple of my Eye
And I love you so and I want you to know
That I'll always be right here
And I love to sing sweet songs to you
Because you are so dear
