Of course her feet don't leave the rug, but she thinks she is going high in the sky.
I say JUMP and she says HOW HIGH!!! ha ha ha
But it is the cutest thing ever- watching her learn how to jump. She thinks/knows she is big stuff now :) Still call her my baby, not a toddler, but really she is. At times I look at her and ask myself "Is she really mine?" "Am I really married with a 17month old and one on the way?" WOA!!! And E is a DAD! Who would have ever thought...
But I would never trade any moments, good or bad, for something else. People that don't wont kids are nutts- their lives to me would be boring. I mean FREE entertainment (although babies do cost a lot of money in other ways). But you don't have to plan an evening to go out and try and entertain yourself. When you have kids its pretty much 24/7- YES! Even when they are sleeping. Ellie goes to bed about 8p, and E & I about 9:30-10p. On my way to bed I always take a pit stop and go watch her sleep for a few minutes. Thats my time to tell her things, pray over her, and to take it all in. Watching her sleep makes me get in the mode to *try* and sleep. Its a little hard with a bowling ball at your tummy, and having to get up and pee every couple of hours.
So yes, Ellie is learning how to jump. :) What a BIG Girl she is becoming.
